Mission Statement
AVEJ Kalyan Sansthan is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged children and women by providing access to education, health, and economic empowerment opportunities. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty and inequality, empowering individuals to achieve their full potential and contribute positively to society.

To create a world where every child, irrespective of their background, has access to quality education, and every woman is given the resources and opportunities to lead a life of dignity, independence, and respect.
Key Areas of Impact
1. Education for Underprivileged Children
AVEJ Kalyan Sansthan believes in the power of education as a catalyst for change. We work tirelessly to provide educational support to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, enabling them to unlock their potential and create a brighter future.
Free Education Centers: Our learning centers across various regions offer free primary and secondary education to children who do not have access to schools. These centers provide a safe and conducive learning environment for children to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Scholarships and Support Programs: We offer scholarships to meritorious students from financially challenged families to pursue higher education. In addition, we provide school supplies, uniforms, and transport assistance to reduce the burden on families and ensure children continue their studies uninterrupted.
Skill Development and Vocational Training: For older children who are unable to continue formal education, we offer skill-building programs in fields such as computer literacy, sewing, carpentry, and more. These programs equip them with the skills required for future employment and entrepreneurship.
2. Women Empowerment
We firmly believe that empowering women is key to transforming communities and societies at large. AVEJ Kalyan Sansthan works to uplift women by providing them with the tools they need to succeed in all aspects of life.
Self-Help Groups (SHGs): We have formed several self-help groups that enable women to come together, share resources, and gain access to small-scale financing. These groups help women start their own businesses, become financially independent, and build confidence within their communities.
Vocational Training and Skill Development: From tailoring and weaving to beauty therapy and computer skills, we provide women with hands-on training in various trades that improve their employability and self-sufficiency. These programs also promote entrepreneurship, enabling women to run their own businesses.
Health and Wellness Programs: Health is integral to empowerment. Our health initiatives focus on improving women’s access to healthcare, awareness about personal hygiene, menstrual health, and maternal care. We conduct workshops and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure women are well-informed and can make informed decisions about their health.
Legal Awareness and Rights Advocacy: Many women in underprivileged communities are unaware of their legal rights. We conduct workshops on legal literacy, offering support for women to understand their rights, particularly in matters of domestic violence, child marriage, and inheritance laws.
3. Community Development and Support
Awareness Campaigns: We conduct awareness campaigns on social issues such as child labor, gender-based violence, child marriage, and health. These campaigns help communities understand the importance of education, safety, and gender equality.
Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation: In times of crisis, such as natural disasters, we step in to provide relief materials, food, shelter, and medical assistance to affected families, with a special focus on children and women.

Rita’s Story – From Struggle to Success
Rita, a single mother of two, had no source of income and struggled to make ends meet. After joining our self-help group and attending vocational training, she learned tailoring. Today, Rita runs her own successful tailoring business, is financially independent, and has become an inspiration for other women in her community.
Arun’s Journey – Education Against All Odds
Arun was a bright student, but his family couldn’t afford the costs of school supplies and uniforms. AVEJ Kalyan Sansthan provided him with the necessary support, including a scholarship and academic mentoring. Arun is now in college, pursuing his dream of becoming a teacher and giving back to the community that helped him.
